Photo Usage Policy
At Lottus Services, we understand the importance of maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. As part of our commitment to professionalism and ethical practices, we have established a photo usage policy to ensure that the privacy of our clients is respected at all times.
Under this policy, our employees are strictly prohibited from taking photos or videos of any client's property or assets, without explicit written consent from the client. This includes, but is not limited to, photos or videos of interior and exterior spaces, equipment, and personal belongings.
In the event that photos or videos are necessary for quality assurance or training purposes, explicit written consent will be obtained from the client prior to taking any photos or videos. Any photos or videos taken with the client's consent will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose for which they were obtained.
We take our clients' privacy very seriously and we are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practices in services industry.
Collection of Information: To provide you with the cleaning services you require, we collect information that is necessary such as your name, address, and payment information. We may also collect additional information about your cleaning needs to ensure we can meet your expectations.
Use of Information: We solely use the information we collect to provide you with the cleaning services you have requested. We do not share or sell your information to third parties for any purposes.
Data Security: We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We utilize industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security as no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Terms of Service
At our cleaning services company, we strive to provide our customers with exceptional service. To ensure that we can meet your expectations, we have established the following terms of service:
Acceptance of Terms: By booking a cleaning service with our company, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.
Services: Our cleaning services include, but are not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of bathrooms and kitchens. We reserve the right to decline service for homes or offices with large unsecured animals, human/animal waste, or strong odors that prevent us from delivering the quality of service you deserve.
Schedule: We will make every effort to schedule the cleaning service at your requested time. However, we cannot guarantee a specific time or date due to unforeseen circumstances. If we need to reschedule, we will communicate any changes in advance and offer you the opportunity to decline service.
Payment: Payment for services is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. If payment is not received at the time of service, we reserve the right to cancel future appointments.
Liability: We take reasonable care to avoid damaging your property. However, our company is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred during the cleaning process. We recommend that you secure any valuable or fragile items before the cleaning service.
Termination: Either party may terminate the cleaning services at any time by providing written notice to the other party. If you terminate the service, you will be responsible for any outstanding balance due.

Website Information Usage
At our cleaning services company, we understand the importance of protecting your personal information. We use the information we collect about you or that you provide to us in the following ways:
To present our Website and its contents to you.
To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us.
To provide you with information about our services.
To provide you with notices about your account/subscription, including expiration and renewal notices.
To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
To notify you about changes to our Website or any products or services we offer or provide through it.
To allow you to participate in interactive features on our Website.
To fulfill any purpose for which you provide it.
For any other purpose with your consent.
We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent. However, we may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers' target audiences. If you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.
At Lottus LLC, we understand that life happens, and you may need to cancel a scheduled cleaning appointment. To ensure the best service for all of our clients, we require forty-eight (48) hours notice of any cancellations. You may provide notice of cancellation by email, SMS (text), or phone.
If the client fails to give forty-eight (48) hours notice on more than one (1) occasion, the Client must pay 50% of the fee for the canceled cleaning on the first offense, and 100% of the fee for any subsequent canceled cleanings.
In the event of canceling more than three (3) consecutive cleanings or more than seven (7) total scheduled cleanings without prior approval from Lottus LLC, it will be deemed a material breach, and Lottus LLC may cancel the contract and/or pricing agreement or seek legal remedies.
If Lottus LLC needs to cancel a scheduled cleaning appointment, we will provide twenty-four (24) hours notice to the client. If we fail to provide 24-hour notice, the Client will be offered one free cleaning.

Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
While it is rare, the possibility of breakage or damage is present while we clean your home or office. Our cleaners exercise reasonable care when cleaning, and we carry insurance for any damage or breakage caused by our cleaners. However, we are not liable for damage caused by normal wear and tear or improper installation of an item in your home or office. Additionally, we are not responsible for any artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms that were not disclosed during the booking process. We strongly recommend that you point out such items to us before we begin cleaning and advise us on how you would like them handled and cared for. If there is any breakage or loss of personal items, please notify us within 24 hours. We will attempt to replace the item as closely as possible, but we cannot guarantee an identical replacement.
If you choose to leave a door unlocked or place a key under a mat or any other unsecured place for our cleaners to gain entry into your home or office, we will not be held liable for any damages or theft to your property.
We provide all the necessary equipment and products for cleaning your home. If you prefer us to use only green cleaning products, please notify us before the service begins. If you request that we use your cleaning supplies, please note that we are not responsible for any damage associated with those products. We kindly ask that you have the cleaning chemicals and supplies ready so that we can perform our cleaning service as efficiently as possible.
We strongly encourage customers to allow our cleaners to use our own professional cleaning products as they are designed to deliver a consistently clean result. Please be advised that using your own cleaning products may add to the cleaning time and void your 48-hour free reclean warranty.
Items We Cannot Clean
Mold removal is a specialty and we cannot be held liable for any mold-related risks in client's homes. We cannot clean hoarding homes or areas containing animal or human body fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages, or urine or excretions.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items.
For safety and liability reasons, our employees are not allowed to climb higher than a step stool or work outside of your home. Our cleaners are also not permitted to move objects weighing more than 35 pounds. If you would like cleaning done behind heavy objects, please move them prior to our arrival.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, presence of weapons, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities. Our employees may choose to leave if they feel unsafe or threatened, or if the home is in an extremely unsanitary condition. If a booking is deemed unreasonable, cleaners may refuse service on the spot and the cancellation fee will apply.
Preparation for Cleaning Day
To maximize cleaning efficiency, we request that you take a few minutes to tidy up by clearing floors, counter-tops, tabletops, and other surfaces to be cleaned. If you'd like us to perform these tasks, please call our office in advance so that we can adjust your cleaning fee accordingly.
We welcome pets and will work around them, but indoor activity should be limited for safety and efficiency reasons. If a pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, we reserve the right to remove our contractors from your home. Our contractors are trained not to enter a house if they perceive an animal to be a threat. If a cleaning technician is removed due to aggressive pets, our cancellation policy will apply.
Our pricing is based on years of experience, but we may adjust the price based on the actual condition of the house. We will notify you if we believe the job will require extra time, and we reserve the right to leave and charge a cancellation fee if we are unable to reach you. We may reevaluate rates at any time based on the time it takes to perform our service to meet your standards. We will contact you to discuss price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid.
We do not offer refunds, but we strive to provide our clients with the best possible service. If we miss something, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will rectify the error at no charge. In some cases, a partial refund may be offered to prevent customer escalation or if it is a smoother scenario than recleaning the area.
